I have downloaded the game on my phone and have managed to get into my old account, so it is not actually blocked at all (I repeat, the account works fine over the phone, so it is purely the link with steam that is going wrong). I guess there will be no RuneScape for me, I know i could download it from the website but its just not the same for me. Lastly, no matter what one tries to do, there is no actual help service or contact. If I try to unlock this, I need to enter an email address which I have done, it says an email has been sent but every time no email arrived in any of my folders (inbox, junk, searching etc). If I try to log in via steam it says "To protect your security, your account has been locked.". Meanwhile, when trying to log in on the website using the email address, nothing is found. So, when I now try and log in with steam, it tried to log in using my email address and doesnt work, but I am unable to change my log in details as my steam is linked with an account using an email address that doesnt work. that email address is already associated with my old account though which is what i think is causing the problem. However, as the account is older than 2005, I have to log in with my username and not the email address.Īs it has been such a long time, when i tried to connect to an account with steam, I put in my email address and not the username.
